Meet The Founder - Tamara Gonzalez Scheulov

"At Little Chatterbox, every child’s voice matters. I am here to help them find it in a way that feels natural and fun."

Hi, I’m Tamara. I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for helping young children find their voices and connect with the world around them.

About Me

  • Before becoming an SLP, I spent 10+ years teaching at leading private preschools, building a strong foundation in child development and early learning. Programs I’ve taught in include:

    • The Family Center at Bank Street College of Education, New York, NY - Student Intern & Teacher's Aide (Part-Time)

    • Cornell University Lab School, Ithaca, NY - Undergraduate Student Practicum (Part-Time)

  • I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of early communication challenges in infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, including speech and language impairments, developmental delays, suspected or diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and complex communication needs.

  • Over the past 7 years, first as an SLP-A and now as a licensed SLP, I’ve developed a unique relationship-based, child-centered therapy style that supports each child’s communication journey in a joyful, engaging, and developmentally supportive way.

Educational Background:

  • M.S. Educational Research, Oxford University
